Voice mail messages question

There are some little devices out there, that are kind of like a microphone you attach to the phone/earpiece. You plug the device into a tape recorder, and it will record your voicemails onto tape. I think radio shack would probably have something like this. I used to have one, but I never used it and threw it out, and I don't remember what it was called.

yes that's what i think i'm gonna do the next time allied interstate calls threating me and telling me what i better do. good idea dadeo.

I would get a cheap tape recorder and put the ear piece from the phone up to the microphone and record it. I also typed up verbatium what the message said including all UH and UMs plus recorded down date and time message was left

Just a word on laws. Make sure it is legal to record in your state.

Would recording laws apply if it's a message left in your voicemail? Seems like it's already recorded since the message was left by them in your voice mail.You would be just recording a recording.

If the message is already on your machine,I think you can record that without any problems.
