my bills are credit cards and utility bills, sbc, that are over a year old and also credit cards mayber two or three yrs old, and court restitution, collections past due, I can't say just how much but its overwhelming to even want to do something about it, I am on disability and social security and also have a bankruptcy approxamietly 5 yrs ago before I got divorced, and it was discharged but all the credit was in my name, only few good credit . Can this be done without bankruptcy for me now?

The first step that you need to consider at this point of time after filing for bankruptcy is to improve your credit file.

Bankruptcy will remain in your credit report for as long as 10 years but you will have to clean all the non-exempted accounts in your credit reports. Consider consolidation program and also get free counseling from this website and know your options of a better deal in this avenue.
