Here is the latest and greatest about me locking a thread. It started with guests and now unsurprisingly
some members are there too. I do research on a lot of my posts before I post because most of my posts are legal issues related to credit. I removed a link and locked a thread because I thought it might be dangerous for someone to use without taking the time to see if that caselaw is still in effect. Seems like I might be taking my job too seriously.

If this community justs wants me to post direction and links,I have no problem with that. I thought the members appreciated the extra research I have done, but need a second opinion on that today for some reason.

I spend a lot of time here just trying to help.I have no actual experience so all I am good for is research and credit rebuilding. I know the relevant federal laws fairly well too.

to me that is not the point. I know many are grateful for your research, My point is post the info but why do you feel you need to lock the topic/thread? Let others have a chance to express their take on the subject.
You know that is just how I feel others may like that you lock it so that "WRONG INFO" is not looked at or commented on.

No one is bashing the cajun. We are questioning however your need to edit posts and lock threads at your discretion. This is a discussion board and your opinion is not the only one that matters. I will also say you are very helpful with your information. What gives you the right to deny everyone the opportunity to read what is posted here? I think you definately are taking "your job" to seriously when you do unnecessary censoring.
How would you like it if somone edited your post here and locked this thread because they disagreed with what you said? Think about that.
