Is there any debt management program for the payday loans?

Rita

Contact this company. BHR&Assoc. 1-949-786-9020. United Christian put me in touch with them. Not sure why they didnt do that for you. They are handling my payday loans, and got me a settlement for 50% of what I owed on 2 of them.

Also, call your bank and tell them that you want to put stop payments on the pay day loans. That will keep them from coming out. It will probably cost you money as it would be like putting a stop payment on check, but that should give you some breathing room until you can get in touch with BHR.

The way BHR works is you dont pay anything upfront. They will negotiate with the loan companies, and if they get a settlement that you like, you pay them 35% of what you SAVE. So if you had a $500 pay day loan and they negotiated it down to $250. You owe BHR $87.50. They are great to work with!

Hi Rita

Welcome to the forums. The consultant will be on his way to discuss your financial problems and offer free counseling.

He will be actively negotiating with your creditors for a reduction in the total amount of your debt eliminating the financial charges, late fees that have been built over it.

The consultant will also offer you various payment plans so that you can choose the best from it according to your present financial standing.

Hope that you will be able to see a good view of your credit report very soon.

Regards
Roxette

I was also given their name, but they were listed as a company to avoid on a website I looked at. How long have you been working with them? After dealing with Ellis, Crosby, and Associates I am trying to check out the companys I deal with. Thank you.

If you call the bank and stop payment on the payday loans, do the loan companies stop sending them through or do they keep tyring every 2 weeks?

I called my bank and they said I would have to pay for each stop payment when I did the stop pay. They said I would need to go to the bank and give them the names of the companies to stop payments to and pay the stop payment fee at that time. This would stop all payments to the company for 6 months.

Okay Kathryn, but if I do that, can they do a wage assignment on me? Also, with wage assignments, do they have to a court order before than can do that? Please advise? I appreciate all of your help Kathryn. You are so kind to give me that information.

Also some of them are pre-authorized debit, so they don't charge a $25.00 stop payment fee.

Oh i see, so even though I signed a wage assignment, they cannot not just sent it to my employers, it has to go to the courts first? Thanks so much for letting me know that. I will call the bank tomorrow and go thru every account with them so they can stop payment of them. Thanks so much for your assistance Kathryn. Can you recommend what debt managerment program I can go with to reduce my payments? If so, would you please be as so kind as to letting me know. Thanks so much for all your help. Also, if anyone know a debt management service that can help me with payday loans, please be as so kind as to letting me know. i really would appreciate it!

You can enter into a debt management program offered by debt consolidation Care to reduce your total monthly payments. They will be much lower than the amount that is paid to the creditors.

Also, the consultant will erase all the financial charges and other fees that have increased the total amount of your debt. These charges will be wiped off and you will be offered to pay the reduced amount only.

Payday loans can also be consolidated with this company. Consider yourself for a free counseling from the trained professionals who will offer you the best payment options to erase your debts and ultimately the accounts will be shown as paid in full in your credit report.

Yes they charged me $25 per company for the stop payments. I had several loans and the payday companies where trying to drawl 2 or 3 payments at a time out of my account(even though I had made arrangements to make payments through the mail with money orders). The overdraft charges were costing me the same $25 per item. At least this way I only paid the cost once and I can use my money to pay them off instead in overdraft charges.

Sorry once again for the inconvenience.

I enquired with the technical team and found that there was a bug in the script sending the data to the counselors and 1 out of 5 approximately Database connections were dropping. The problem was from July 24th to August 4th. We are sorry for what happened and have now resolved the situation. If you weren't contacted before please send your email address to vikas@debtconsolidationcare.com and we will look up your detail and you will be contacted as soon as possible.
