I guess you should go to your bank and tell them about closing your account. Show them proof of all the unauthorized transactions done by the lenders. You should ask them to dispute the charges with the loan companies and help in getting your money back. Many people here have faced similar problems and they were able to get some relief because of their bank????????s co-operation.

You should also call the pdl companies and ask for a paid in full letter. This will be a proof of the fact that they are not allowed to make any more debits in your account after the accounts are paid. See this topic with a similar problem like yours.

Welcome to the forums, memalh. You have come to the right place. First of all, don't let these things make you sick any more. They are not worth it. Congrats for getting them all paid off. You are a step ahead of me. Regarding the PDL that is still taking money out, was it internet or storefront? You will need to close your bank account in order to stop them. Also, do what Bridget said and get paid in full letters from all the companies because these places are notorious for continuing to try to collect even after they are paid off. Also, what state are you in? Please try to relax. Most of us here have been where you are and it DOES get better.
