Hello I live in MN and have 11 internet pdl and I can not handle this anymore. how do i get out from under them. I am not eating or sleeping due to them. I feel really stupid

I am in the same boat as you. I joined this forum last week and have gotten quick responses on my questions. You will get alot of support here. Coming here is the first step, but I read some of the testimonials and it looks like alot of people have been able to get out of the same boat you and I are in.

So that would be governed under different laws then the ipdl's.

Here are the laws regarding pdl's for MN:

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html

They have very specific amounts that these places can charge. You need to go through your stuff and figure out exactly how much you legally owe on each loan. Then if you've paid more then you should, you need to write letters to the ipdl's stating what you legally owe according to MN laws, and request that your account be marked paid in full. I'm looking into the correct way to calculate this for MN, so if I find anything soon I will post that here also.

I would try calling them and being honest. Tell them you are in way over your head and cannot continue to pay like this. Ask them if you can set up some sort of payment plan, not at the interest rate they are currently charging. Some may work with you.

As far as calculating the interest allowed, it gets kind of confusing. First you would have to find out under what state license they are operating. That determines what laws they have to follow.

If they have a location in MN, then you would follow MN laws.

There is also a chance that some of your ipdl's aren't going to be licensed anywhere. That means that you would have a leg to stand on to fight them.

I'd also call your ag's office or banking dept. If you tell them your situation, they then may be able to help you deal with the companies.

ms
You have not listed what you have already paid back, how long have you had these and how much have you paid back so far.

Arrowhead was easier to deal with once I filed a complaint with my state attorney generals office. Actually, all of them were. Don't threaten to file a complaint unless you actually intend to do so. You have every right to file a complaint if you have paid an ungodly amount left to pay if you have already paid a significant amount. Goodluck.
