It's too bad that people have to be so nasty when you're here doing what you're here for, helping other people. I'll miss seeing you on. Keep in touch. I will PM you.

Kyside........I may not have been with this site long but I do know that anyone who is saying that is FALSE. Why step down and let them run things. Don't let it get to you. I know, along with MANY others that you are way better than that. You help out so much and are always giving great advice. Its sad to see that some people's opinions and ways of handling things they don't like are pushing those who give great advice away from the forums. I really hope you think about this before making your final decision to step down. We need you here and not just "once in a while" we need your advice and your support. Think about it, stick around.

I know I may not have a title here but I have an opinion, I have been away for a couple of days and now I come back to things like this. Kyside I hope you change your mind about your decision.Your advise would be missed. I don't know what has been going on but I hope things don't get to out of hand here. I have gotten so much help from so many of you since I have been here. So PLEASE think long and hard before you make this decision. There are going to be so many more people that will need your experience.

The only throne kyside's been on lately is the porcelain throne. Let's please not attack her majesty when she's making a BM thank you.

Honestly, I have always thought of Kyside's posts to be intelligent, well-informed and helpful. It would be a shame for someone who thinks they know everything, to push away someone who really does know what she's talking about.

This is bull shit, plain and simple. KYSIDE is one hell of a lady and one lady who know her stuff especially pdls, dare I say she one of the FEW on this site who helped me when I came on here, she KNOWS THE LAWS, she can direct you on how to FIGHT the FIGHT against these ****.
She is one of the kindes people I know, and who the hell in their right f'n mind would send this nice lady a nasty pm and even DARE to try and correct on her. I know her, she doesn't post bull shit or give bad advice, she doesn't post unless she has her facts straight.
I swear to freaking GOD, take my moderator title as well, there are too many here, and a few who feel the need to take control and go around correcting people. This site used to be enjoyable to come to, but it seems that a few have come aboard and taken over and feel the need to correct those who know their shit. I'm right behind you kyside!

I agree with you one hundred percent, girlfriend!! We need people like KYSIDE who does know her facts. Take my title too. I'm about as useless as can be anymore. I'm tired of the drama and there are too many moderators around here. I remember when it seemed that you actually had to earn the title. Things have changed and it seems not for the better. Enough is enough!

My opinion is that it has gone way too far when it is pushing somebody like kyside out. She has more patience than anybody I know. I have seen people come and go and come on here and say how they are starting a nationwide campaign against pdls, oh they are writing senators and other legislators. Remember a few months back? Like I said to another member, that too shall pass in a week. Hmmmmmm, whatever happened to all the big talk. I am rambling because I am pissed off as hell. I can not stand to see somebody like kyside get nasty pm's and be corrected all over the place because somebody has a holier than thou attitude and has the need to be recognized for every little damn thing.

I am so fed up with this Forum!! I came on here over a year ago and I heard, and got nothing but help and support. Now lately it has been nothing but name calling, attacking, I'm right-you're wrong, type of thing. It seems more time is spent on correcting people, putting others down,etc., to actually help someone. Kyside, you have become a dear friend, a wonderfull mod, and helpfull to others, I hope you reconsider. I was hoping some would get the hint and stop this childish behavoir, and start doing what this forum was intened for-helping others. I do not intend to go yet, but, if this continues to be a contol-issue type of things, not helping others, I may have to reconsider. Plese think things over-hopefully with those who want this forum back for what it is intened for, and with managements help, we can once again become a strong UNIFIED group..KAren

Please!!! Nobody think about leaving. This is a decision that I have to make right now. I have always been able to handle the critics but things have got a little out of control. Thanks for explaining more of the situation to me. Take care of yourself and stay in touch. You have my contact info. I do want to step down as moderator. I have felt like this for awhile and so do some others on this board. I really feel useless anymore. I have actually been posting on a couple of other boards where there is not so much drama. It has nothing to do with debt but I have learned so much here. It just seems that becoming a moderator is too easy these days. I am only speaking my opinion here. Karen, we love you girl and I feel your anger/frustration.

Kyside, I am very sad to read your post. I came on this site a month or so ago feeling desperate and hopeless. It was with the help and advice from you and others that gave me back my hope and made me think that I really could get through this. You guys provide a wonderful service, and I hope you will reconsider.

Kyside - what the hell happened! I hav ebeen off the computer for a few hours and now you are leaving - I am furious! Why would anyone attack the long time members of this forum, who have had a working knowlege of all of the laws and pdls and given some of the best advise to people like me who were lost and desparate? You have been such a great friend and support when I needed it the most. I feel like someone kick me in the stomach! I was just e-mailing that reporter about all of the work the you have been doing in wv. I am stunned!

Just so you all know . . . I did not send kyside any nasty pm's. I didn't send her any pm's at all. So please don't blame that on me.

All I did was post what the banking dept told me. Sorry if that caused such a riot.

And I've never said I know everything. I was only posting the info I was given.

I don't think Kyside should go either.

Other forums I am on do not allow personal attacks. I havent gone back to see what this stems from but in a lot of cases, the truth hurts....and people lash out.

I don't think they meant you, you definately stick around, you have given good advice also. We need a variety of opinion and outlook on the site. I appreciate what you have posted as well as what kyside has posted. The more information the better, if you guys are finding it in two different places and it contradicts each other, that is ok, for the reader, they will know everything that is out there. So both of you hang around, you are both valuable assets to this site.

Holy cow....what the heck happened?? Kyside, don't go, sweetie, we all love ya and whoever is being nasty to you can go jump off a cliff. Obviously it's not someone who even MATTERS on this site.

No one has any right to attack Kyside. We have a great group of mods on this site, with individual styles and personalities. If you don't like what one of the mods has to say, deal with it and move on - what is said here by Kyside has been very helpful to everyone, and I've never seen her post a cross word about anyone.

This is the time to stand together. Just think if a bad soul is trying to disturb the balance of this forum the only reason behind is stopping the expert members to give true information. And once a member like Kyside leaves us, their purpose is served.

So please do not take the nasty words and personal attacks seriously as we know people make such threats out of grievance. If receiving nasty PM's or comments in the forum are the reason behind leaving then we have something to do:

If you are getting bad PM's send the sender's username to Vikas/Mike/Me so that we can ban the user from forum. Even we can investigate the IP this user has been posting from.

Also send us suggestions like:

• Is Guest posting option troubling us?
  
• If the waiting panel for Pending Guest Posts that we have for Pub should be implemented in other forums also.
  
• What we can do to improve the panel of moderators? Do we need a forum moderation guideline or such things?

I know I am not as important as KYside or many others but i agree.. I might read a little and post one or two but right after I joined and I was helped by the likes of Kyside Steeler and Suebee.. then it became out of control.. so I join Kyside in leaving getting away from those that take this board to a level it was not meant to go.

Many have come here to help.. CA Lawyers and those who have been in the hell we most have seen.. then some have come and think that "Knowledge" is more imporant then us who have been there. I frankly give up. everything i post giving my .02 or experince has been shot down.. that is my reason for moving on..

KYSIDE- If you step down, that is giving everyone the impression that you are not strong enough to take it. In other words THEY WIN! Please dont remove yourself from MODERATOR. You received that position for a reason. Dont let 1 or a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch. You are needed. Please think about it some more.

Maybe your management team should re-think their appointment of people to enforce the rules of this board. It seems all the long time memebers don't want to be members any more and some don't want to be moderators anymore. It seems the recent appointees don't have the same ethichs and caring about everyone that the soon to be ex-moderators do.

Oh how I agree with Guest.. I think that just having the post should not a HOF make..
I see many post with nothing more then a Hi or THanks or BS.. How about the Real Post from the people that have really put time and effort LIKE KYSIDE Steeler and so many more Pinklady.. sorry names escape me..

I really dont know what is going on but I am almost 36 years old and I dont have time for the "drama" so, whatever is going on I hope it ends soon....Would hate to see a good thing like this forum be nothing more then a site to cause problems in other people's lives....I think it's sad that at one point MOST of the members got along.....I may not put in time and effort on here but I come on here to get "educated" on my rights with debt and I do not think I cause problems..If I had said anything to offend anyone on here please PM me and let me know without the discussion on the boards and I will gladly make it right with ANYONE that I might have upset. Jason, what about the personal attacks that the guests are getting at the hands of some members? You seem to be only addressing the guests that are problematic not the members. I understand that you have to address the issues and you take care of your own first, but I do believe this is an all inclusive club of responsibility. Can you please comment on this? Thank you.

Here's my 2 cents...I'm one of those types of posters that sits on the sidelines until I see a topic that I really think I make a difference by adding my comments. Usually, it's about banking, since that's what I know. I came to this site because I was being harrased by Bass & ****, and other pdl places. I got GREAT advice from all of you guys, and now only have 3 storefronts that I'm paying down. Everyone here has helped me to realize what my rights are and to not take it when some CA wants to push me around. My point is...things have gotten kind of nasty around here. People saying things that may not have come out the right way. Other people taking offense. And then days and days of other posters apologizing for what was said, taken out of context, etc. Then, we get the odd ball CA in disguise that blatently bashes us. When we start fighting amongst ourselves, they win. We don't need a civil war. We need a unified front against these scum. I consider myself an "old-timer", even though I haven't been around as long as some others. I really hate to see anyone intimdated and feeling like they need to step down because of verbal attacks. Especially if they came from other "old-timers" or young whipper-snappers. Even though I'm not a mod, I've been thinking about taking a break for a while until people quit fighting. I'm taking a short "time-out" to breathe and regroup. I will still have my PM and will be checking posts, but I'm not going to respond to posts for a time. I'm sure you all understand. I just get tired of in-fighting. Those threats may have come from an outside party for all I know. I just know what I'm getting tired of, personally. Thanks, all.

I don't think you've done anything to offend anyone. I've been reading through some of the more recent posts and it's heartbreaking to see others leave as well. I agree that the amount of posts should not make someone a moderator. This seems to be happening more and more on this board. A few of us, Tammy, Sue, Ari, Jessi, we all came here around the same time. I'm not trying to take away anything from anyone by posting this but this is my reality. We helped each other figure out ways to work with payday lenders, collectors, etc. We had to put the footwork in and do the research ourselves. Then someone great comes along like Polly, Steelers, Kyside who have also done their share of research. I truly feel like we've earned the "term" moderator. I know I was here a good six months before it wasn't even brought up to me. I think this is part of the problem and I've asked Mike to remove my title as moderator. I'm tired of the personal attacks and I think a few others are as well. And I can't forget to mention Karen and dbaker6 as well and the rest know who you are :-)

I will NOT step down as moderator. Why? The only way we can fix it is by being proactive. Guys...Mishele, Tammy, Karen, Kyside, Steelers....We have been through so much CRAP! We have stood up for each other countless times, and we've held each others hands too many times to count. We've also had a lot of laughs. Kyside, I understand why you are leaving, and my friend, I will still be chatting with you! But the others- Stand up with me, ok? We've done it before, lets do it again.

Look at the title bar above. It's a community with more than 71,000 members. You all have to give a helping hand in the responsibilities of DebtCC and make this community well arranged. After all, it's your place and it will stand as the best in the internet when we all are together. Imagine, when one leaves from the family, it becomes a very emotional moment. I can't drink this pain.. It's very hard for me.

I'm afraid more than one might be leaving at this point. Yes, it is very painful but there have been too many personal attacks. I have stood in this forum while being stalked by collectors and payday lenders. This dripped into my personal life and was very scary.

No one's personal life should be affected by any reason. I agree with you Mishele. Talking about personal attacks, the source is to be identified and stopped.

First- Jasonplease comment- If you read my posts and some of the other mods, I am all for the guests that come here looking for help, and try to help. All of us are getting attacked. If it weren't for Mishele, Ari,Jessi,Mike,Vikas, and a host of others I can't remember-I'm old- I would not be where I am today!! And Fins Ezerke and others came about when I did. This makes me sick,too. This was always a safe, fun place to help and encourage others. I wanted to give back to others to help them become debt free and have HOPE.Like I said, I have considered it, I don't need the drama, I have a mother with 18% of her heart left I'm taking care of and a 33 year old son who is disabled. My time on the computer is precious and I always enjoyed coming to the Forum, hoping my friends would be on, or there was someone I could share my experience with. I also enjoy welcoming the new ones, guesst or members to our FAMILY. I am not leaving at this time- I am going to try my best to get this Forum back to where it needs to be, and get this dysfunctional FAMILY back to one unit!!..KAren
