Send a written dispute to each bureau asking for a investigation of the account.Since it is only one account,dispute as a duplicated account.
Write a letter to midland credit management also requesting them
Write a letter to midland credit management also requesting them to fix the error with the bureaus. Since they are involved with this item, they should have no problems in calling the bureaus and do the correct reporting on your account. Your dispute will be filed with the bureau as well with Midland, whoever fixes it first. Do all the correspondence in writing through certified mail and return receipt requested
