Today, I got tired of GFS Calling (i never answer, but I'm tired of hearing the phone ringing. So I sent GFS the letter, like I will send to Mr Ragan with PD6/express Cash. The next thing I know, GFS is calling my office and cell. So, I emailed them telling them that will record every time the try to contact me (b/c i told them to no longer call my home (cell) or office) and forward it on to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

I also stated that the only type of correspondence I will accept is an email stating that my account be marked Paid in Full.

HA. Hope this works ya'll

When you have placed your request with these places not to make phone calls, but written communication only, they should honor it. But unfortunately, you can't take any legal actions against them if they don't follow. It's because the C&D letter works on collection agencies only. Lenders don't come under this rule.

Be informed of the laws and stand as an informed consumer. Don't show your weakness by not taking the phone calls. You have a loan with them and if you have already paid along with the legal charges mentioned in your state, ask for the PIF letter on the phone. They must not keep disturbing you after the loan is paid in full.
