I have emailed and faxed this place repeatedly, stating the laws, and that I need to make payments to them for their principle and LEGAL interest. This guy from there keeps calling my house every day stating that he has no access to email or postal services and he will continue calling. I got a call from my payroll department today saying that he called to verify my information and that he has a voluntary wage assignment that they would like to enact. My hr department said they are not even going to call him back and see if he calls again, which I know he will. I have a headache now.

All you have to do is revoke it. Keep a copy to show your HR dept.

Unfortunatly, it's very difficult to get these people to stop calling. They ignore cease and desist letters a lot of the time. What worked for me everytime they called, before they could say anything I would tell them I will only talk through mail, then hung up. Eventually they quit calling. My workplace also told them I no longer worked there. It took one pdl 2 motnhs of calling several times a day and always being told I don't work there to finally stop calling.

That is definitly something to think about. If my phone had not quit ringing, I was going to do that, but so far, no phone calls this week...knock wood! LOL

I also think you need to revoke your voluntary wage assignment. Send them one and do give one to your payroll department.

All this makes you never want to get a loan (even a legitimate one) ever again!!! Up until June 30 2006 - I had no debt whatsoever! My car was paid for...and then the transmission died...so I bought a new (to me) car, ended up with a payment and higher insurance...it all went to garbage from there!
