sqichiki78, this site, in and of itself, is not a settlement company. We (the members) volunteer our time to help people dealing with credit issues, debt collectors, payday loans...and it costs nothing to use this board. If you gave your phone number when you signed up, a credit counselor will likely call soon. They'll go over your options, and help you make the best decision. You don't have to use the company that does contact you, but if you use any company, make sure you check them out. This site, the BBB, the FTC, your AG, etc... all good resources to help make sure you don't get ripped off.
