T&C and CashTransferCenters

I have consolidated my debts and PDLs with T&C, but I do not know if they work with the one you mentioned. All you can do is ask them if they do and see if they find them difficult to deal with. Good Luck!

Cash Transfer Center is an illegal business. You don't need them to be put under any consolidation program. Pay them their principal amount if you can manage on your own and get off their back. They don't have a leg to stand on because there are too many complaints about their violations in almost every state. How much have you paid on the principal?

Cash Transfer Center is very quick in sending the wage assignment form to the payroll. If you get their letter, send a letter revoking it because wage assignment is voluntary. The sample letter is posted in this link. You might need it later.

I haven't defaulted with them YET. As of Thursday I will. I haven't paid anything towards the principal - I just keep reborrowing. They take it out and the next day they let me reborrow it. So total that I need to pay back is $400 plus $103 finance. If they would be willing to work with me and only take out half this payday and the remaining half next payday - I would be fine. But I have even talked to a "manager" and they can't do anything, they say. How fast are they to act out via contacting you or sending wage assignements once you are in default?

Do you have their billing address? You should offer them the money that you can afford and a proposal letter explaining your repayment plan. You will be safe when they cash your check. Send the letter CMRRR and keep a copy for records.

CTC aka Sonic Payday will probably refuse to work with T & C at first. I know they did with me but they cashed the payments sent to them. They even harassed my debt counselor there. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just being honest. They are pretty sneaky and might get your supervisors contact info at work. They did mine and sent him an e-mail stating that I had defaulted on a loan. That is not allowed, they can only verify employment. That doesn't matter to them though. :roll:

I would suggest talking to T & C about it when they call back. What state do you live in? This information would be helpful because of your states laws. I seriously doubt they are licensed in your state to loan money. You also may want to go ahead and revoke the voluntary wage assignment now. Also, you may want to speak to your payroll dept to let them know that you have done this. You can just tell them the debt is listed in a debt management program. I don't know how your employer works so it's only a suggestion. I know my employer at the time would not do anything without a court order. They have been known to get their money though so be careful when dealing with them.

They also like to state they refuse payments or work with debt consolidation companies. You may want to send them a letter or e-mail saying not to contact you at work. This might save some hassle down the road. Keep us updated on your progress. :-)
