how much do they charge? We are just about to sign up with the companie that contacted us from this community. I guess I'm just looking to hear from people that have done this, and that it does work as good as they say. The PDL's I just called them, told them I was in financial difficulty and was trying to avoid bankruptcy. They all set me up on a flex-pay, which will pay them off in 4 months, instead of just paying the rollover every month. I am so glad I found this site!

Hi, welcome to the forums!

Yes, this site is indeed a great community to many people. Stick around, if you have any other questions, I'm sure one of us can help.

-What was your reasoning behind considering consolidation?
-Have you recently pulled your credit report?
-Did you get the flex-pay offer in writing?

Sounds to me that the payday lenders are willing to give you a break, and perhaps you wouldn't need to go through debt consolidation, and have to end up paying fees.

On the other hand, if you have a larger debt, then maybe a program like debt consolidation would work for you, as the program allows you to pay overtime interest free.

I'd also watch your account very closely, as sometimes payday lenders forget what they tell the customers and end up double dipping into their account.
