Your best bet would be to research them through the BBB as well as your AG before signing up with them...I have not used them nor have I heard much about them but I would research any company before doing business with them

Look up the company's own site, and see what you are actually offered. I was not impressed.
Prepaid legal
Prepaid legal worked excellent for me. Used them for a naging credit they took care of it. I would recommend the service.

I used prepaid legal for years and they charge my cc...i really only used them once after obtaining their services..and they were not of much help..it was for a land contract eviction of one of my tennants..and i ended up going with a local attorney and paying $6500.00 for foreclosure, filing, and other paperwork..my enrollment was essentially cancelled after that..but on a nice token, it would depend on what you are wanting them for..simple legal procedures they would be fine..they did write all the paperwork i requested on the situation promptly..i just couldn't get what i wanted to done w/out direct contact..but they weren't bad either...

I was in a group legal plan (same name as a famous hotel chain) - -perhaps not the one specified here - thru my employer when I was working. It was a waste of money, at least for debt collection defense. This particular plan had network attorneys and would reimburse out-of-network attorneys.
I first tried a network attorney. What a jerk. He was either incompetent or a crook, or both. I know he wasn't the only lawyer out there, but I wanted to go to one who didn't handle bankruptcy, as I know the BK lawyers would try to push me into that. What I need is an aggressive lawyer who can think outside the box.
This guy was rude and disrespectful. It was obvious that I knew more about these issues from internet research than he did. For example, when I told him that on average, cc debt can be settled for 50 cents on the dollar, and with some creditors, much less than that, he seemed to think it was impossible to get a deal that good.
He wanted me to sell my house and use the proceeds to settle the debt. I did talk to a realtor, who told me I wouldn't get very much for the property (worth less than the debt total). When I told the lawyer this he dropped me like a hot potato. I suspect he thought he could get a piece of the action: settle with a creditor for 50% but tell me it was for 75% and pocket the difference, even though he would be paid for his time through the legal plan.
I then tried naca lawyers, but couldn't find one willing to help me, even if paid by the plan.
