Yes, you won't have any problems in signing up with a new company and get your debts consolidated into an easier repayment plan.
Did you verify from your consolidation company on why they didn't show any results in negotiating with your creditors and get a lower interest rate? You hired their services for some arrangements to be done with your creditors. They are answerable to your questions.

The only thing I can remember was, the lady said the credit card co. would not reduce debt, and would hold as is. So I can only assume everything, stop at the point it was at. Living 41/2 years to pay this back. That was fine I thought we could do it, but with a house payment, and me paying rent, we are on the verge of losing what ever we have accumlated in 20 yrs. Excluding the money she blew. With out me getting paper work out I can not even tell you the name of the co. She also said it was a free service, I am finding that hard to believe. Maybe they are taking a cut. It seems to me they just called all companies and became a collection agency.

I just finished reading this contract, that was signed by my wife and my self. This was to stop the bleeding. It says (as far as I can understand) there is a $20.00 fee ea. month,It continues to say it is a non-profit community service and is supported through public and private donations. It continues to say in the terms: (d)- you send written notice by registered mail to all of the listed creditors withdrwing your authorization from------ to act on your behalf. so it sounds like as long as evry one is notified the agreement becomes void. Now once that is done the creditors would surely swoop down and eat you alive. I really do not know what to do, all I know is I nor my wife can maintain this kind of payment for 4 more years. My other option would be bankrupcty.

I have the contract wich it pretty much syas five days notice shall be given to void contract, but where does that leave me, in no mans land and stiil oweing this amount of money, with an extremely large payment that I can no longer make. I had to borrow money to pay income tax and did the same last year, and still owe it at a tune of $8,000.00 total now. Ther is one thing my dad told me when I was very young, and still holds true to thisa day. "Ther are two things in life that guranteed, Death and Tax'es". My father was a lot smarter than I gave him credit for. The taxes I still owe to a crdit card, I do not see anyway out of this whole mess. I do not think any one can help, which leaves me only one way out. All I can do is ask for gods forgiveness. Just to think you have been the only one I have been able to talk to about this and I don't even know you. Thanks for your time.

I am with a debt consolidation company and I did not have to send out any written letter to the creditors all I had to do sign a paper givin the company permission to negotiate with the creditor the amount they would accept for payment every month. They sent me a letter listing all the creditors and what they had accepted and one did not agreed with the amount proposed and wanted $10 more a month and I had to signed another paper in order to ok the increase for that creditor. This company charges $35 fee per month. They negotiated the lowest amount possible and I will be paid up in 3 yrs. I only pay $231.00 per month (including the $35 fee) If you would like PM me and I will give you the name of the company and you can talk with them.

Well there are many different options you have. You just have to decide which one you want and what works best for you. I didn't have a wife that went crazy, but we did get into some major credit card debt. I went to debthelp.com to go through a debt settlement company and ended up doing a mortgage refinance instead. If you don't have the equity in your home, then a debt settlement company may be your best bet.

If you could and would not mind, at least, I can talk to them and see if there are any options I can take, or even have. Love eyes, my down fall.
Thank you
