I found a website called Primetime1.net.which offers various loans.I applied for a loan of $5000.They called me and said I was approved and they would fax the loan papers to me.They also said I would need to pay the first 5 payments as collateral before I receive the loan. And since my credit score was low I would also have to pay $252 for insurance. They faxed the loan papers and it will be $119 per month for 4 years starting in 6 months since I would be making the down payment. The interest rate is 7 percent.I have not sent the money yet ..They want it sent by Western Union.
Have you ever heard of this company?Do you think this is a scam? The address on the loan papers is 125 Cedar st. Cambridge,MD 21613 Phone number. 1-800-459-9049
I really need this loan and am hoping this is not a scam, but I cant afford to send $969 and then lose it because this is all I have. They do not have an email address and the loan papers have Primetime Lending as the name of the company.
Thanks for you help

It looks like they do not have a good online presence. I searched the web for some trace but ended clueless.

You need to be careful, try some BBB certified company.

I just got off the phone with the BBB in MD. They told me that Prime Time Lending is a scam..the address125 cedar st of Prime Time Lending is not a valid address. So do not send them any money or the BBB says you will loose it

Don't do it... I made the mistake of sending the money, I am now 4 weeks into excuses, no loan funding and than they informed me that by their mistake I can't get the loan so they were sending me a refund. Once I recieved that I could reapply to get my loan since it was their fault it didn't go through. I have not gotten my loan or my money back. I have reported them to the FTC and SCC so I would not take the change if I were you.

I applied for a loan through prime time lending and they told me i was approved also to send 986.25 to Matthew Moore at 125 Front Street in Richmond Hill Ontario and i would have to send that through Western Union International and i spoke with a person by the name of Emely Stewart at 1-800-459-9049 and was told i had to send the money Western Union (Green Form) International. I decided to look it up on the internet and found what appears they are a scam.

Thanks for the head's up! I was just short of going thru with the "so-called" loan process, until I found your site. Everything sounded legit, but it also sounded too good to be true. Thanks for helping me save the little bit of credit and sanity I do have!

My name is Sly Calhoun, my wife and I were also took by PrimeTime Lending. But we refuse to let them get away with it. We have informed the BBB, The Federal Trade Commision, various internet and lending fraud agencies as well as local law enforcement. What we need is more help from other people who got ripped off by Larry Johnson, Emily Whatever and company. NO we may not get our money back but we can keep this from happening to anyone else and put them all behind bars. Now with every hustle one thing remains constant if we all pool what we remember and what paper work we have; I am confident we can find that one thing that never changes. A fax number, an e-mail address and IP address something. You can contact me or my wife @ 443-423-5813 between 9am-12pm. Our e-mail us with what you remember about your experience with PrimeTime if we all work together we can get these people. Please help because we won't stop till we catch them and bring them to justice, If you want to get in on it contact us.

I too was ALMOST taken by them, but as luck would have it, my instincts took over at the last minute before sending them any money. They haven't tried to contact me since. HOWEVER, my MAIN and immediate concern is that before it go to the "sending money" part - I filled out an application - complete with my bank information. Should I be concerned?

Hi csemsey

You can send a written notice to your bank explaining the situation and not to let any fraudulent activity happen in your account by primetime Lending.

Get one copy of your letter signed by the bank authorities so that you can track it later for valid reasons.

I did the exact same thing most of you did with primetime spoke larry johnson. called him and bug him almost everyday. I wanted to see him face to face so i drove. i live about 2 hours away from what should be 125 cedar st cambridge maryland. I drove out to this location twice because something told me this was fraud. It doesnt exist at all. all i could find was a pizza place on 124 cedar street nothing else. Don't let them take your money. I even did a reverse look up on all the phone numbers they have. Didn't check out. If any so called company ask you to send money through western union or any other wired transfer before you recieve your funds it is fruad.

I also had second thoughts about primetime lending and did not follow through the "loan" need to forward this information
