I'm not sure of that sorry. But I know there is a price for a background check though. My landlord did that before we could sign the lease. His wife did it on-line. So there is a way. I will try and see if I still have his number (they sold our house over a year ago) but keep checking I am sure someone knows how. I am thinking that if it has been taken care of, it shouldn't be there anymore. Thats just my opinion, I really don't know. I would probably be upfront with the possible employer that , that my be on there. Just explain to them the situation and how you took care of it. Then they will be ready to see it than if you don't say something at all then they would be like OMG. I hope you understood that lol.

If for some reason this warrant still shows active, you need to contact your local court house....Also, if you had been pulled over for anything since you took care of it and the warrant wasn't cleared, they would have taken you in....

Prince, I did it myself online I am in Florida and I went online thru the County Courts and in that website had advertisement for all kinds of things, including to check on your neighbors, people etc. I do not know where you are but try the website for the court house/public records etc. they might have them (ads) in that website, they will charge you for it but not much If I can remember mine was like 14.95 is being a while though. I think you could do it yourself or pay a fee like others have said on this thread. I would call the courts myself and they could do a search for you re warrants and I also know that you are entitled to one free credit report a year from the major bureaus. Just a thought...

If you pay to have a background check done and anything pops up, I'd let the HR rep know as soon as possible. I'd think it would be better to not get the job, than to be given a start date which you plan for (and might stop your job search), only to have the job offer rescinded.
