I received a nasty phonecall stating I committed bank fraud and needed to pay first federal $800 today by moneygram. The only reason I know that it is Ellis Crosby was by plugging tn their phone number and your website came up. I started to read all the different guests complaint and I definitely fell into that category. I need advise and guidance. Please call me at 203/554-0576. I need some guidance on this Investigator Roe who threatened that there would be a warrant out for my arrest.

Thanks.

Hi Lai

Welcome to the forums. If you read the various posts of our consumers, you will find yourself in the same boat. But you can be rest assured that this is just an illegal way of Ellis Crosby to scare innocent consumers like you.

I will suggest you to do a thorough study of this complete forum and acquire the perfect guidance for yourself.

Lastly, you don't have to worry about anything that they threaten with. You can exercise your consumer rights by filing a complaint against them at the FTC, BBB, DA's office and request for immediate action.

Roxette

Roxette,

Thank you for your reply. The forum is a great source of information and I did find others in my similar situation. I have emailed my attorney general in CT and also sending the same email to attorney general in FL Charles Crist. One of the guest Trina is having the same exact situation as I am. Have you heard of Litigation of America?? Do you think they are working for Ellis Crosby? Let me know if you have any or heard info on them.

Thanks.

Hi Lai,

Welcome back. It is disclosed openly that Ellis Crosby uses any type of scary tricks to harass the consumers. Though the membership of Ellis Crosby has been revoked and they have been restricted from doing normal business, it is sad that it does not put a stop on the collection calls.

No matter what Ellis Crosby claims, it is obvious that their calls should not be taken seriously and we need to put ourselves in the stronger side.

Next time, when someone from Ellis Crosby calls, we need to fasten our belts and scare them with all the legal steps that can be taken against such unpleasant remarks.

Stay well informed and there is no other platform better than debt consolidation Care to bring awareness in this matter.

Regards
Roxette

Dennis,

You should sound like a strong man backed by the Fed. Government in front of the calls of Ellis Crosby. Trust me; Ellis won't do anything to you because they are not in a position to do so. Use your legal rights to defend yourself. The fdcpa laws are clearly defined and they will have a tough time dealing with you.

Ellis is likely to be out of business very soon because the Florida Attorney general has taken legal actions against them. Just inform them while they call you and that will make you feel stronger.

If they keep calling you, a letter to stop telephonic conversation will be legally helpful as per the fdcpa laws.
