Are there different firms that call or is it just one that gets the information that I put on this site.Do they negoiate with all your crediters before they offer the one monthly payment.Since I have payday loans and they take the interest automaticly out of my checking each week will I need to close out my checking first or will they stop when consolidation is started.Im alittle confused on how this works.I filled out the infomation a few weeks ago and no one has called me or emailed me except a company called christian debt solutions???Are they the company that this site sends your info to?What is the phone number
since I dont anwser my phone to unavailibe for 1-800 numbers.I would love to get this started since the loan I was approved for ended up being a scam.Im am worried that once my payday loan creditors are called that they will not let me renew and without the consolidation I cant afford to pay the total balances that I owe. When I filled out the profile it didnt ask for any of my crediors names or account numbers, will they get that info over the phone?Sorry so many questions im just a little gun shy right now and would like to know if it is really possible to get all my credit cards and payday loans down to just one monthly payment.
Thanks

Christian debt solutions is the company I am using for my consolidation. I was telephoned by an agent of CDS and we discussed my needs. I did have to fax him some of my statements from companies he was not familiar with and my medical bills.

As for me, It is getting pretty stressful right now. I couldn't pay the consolidation company and my creditors.... so I just had to pay the consolidation co. Now we are getting lots of collection calls, but the agent assures me that it will stop as soon as the proposal process is complete.

He has been very good to get back the same day when I e-mail questions.

I did look them up on the BBB and they are in good standing. I also did a search of them on this site and found only minor complaints - mostly it seemed like they were from people like me who are stressing out over the interim proposal process.

I don't know anything about the payday loans, but thus far I have been assured that most, if not all, of my creditors would be willing to work with us.

I am sure others will be able to answer your questions better, but I hope this helps!

twokidtwocat - this company has partner sites all over the United States. Once your information is received with this site, it is sent to the consultant of the debt consolidation company operating in your area.

The consultant negotiates with your creditors and gets the debt amount reduced by wiping off the financial charges, late fees from it.

Please make sure that you get in touch with your consultant and get your consolidation program started.

Roxette

Hello twokidtwocat,
If you want to call me at my Toll-Free Number , I can fully explain the program to you. You are in a sticky situation over the payday loans. That is the area that we probably should address first.

I consulted Christian debt solutions because i was about $10,000 in debt with credit cards and personal loans. they told me once i made the first payment to them, to stop paying my creditors because they would send out proposals for lower payments. well, i did. Now, my creditors are calling me even after receiving proposals telling me the minimum they are receiving isn't enough because CDS waited so long to pay. i now have about a dozen hits on my credit report for late payments, my credit score has dropped 100 points and i owe hundreds in late payments and minimum amounts to my creditors. CDS has blown me off, and i am now in more debt than before i had consulted them. i would suggest a different company. If there's anyone from CDS that can solve my problem, i'd appreciate some feedback.

davishr I'm glad that you posted your problem. I'm in the beginning stages of this process and was ready to get rid of the company that called me because they said they would email the contract and I never got it. I guess it pays to shop around.
I was told that in the beginning it would take awhile for everyone to get on the same page and that there may be late fees and all accrued until it got settled but that the late fees and high interest rates would be reversed. Are you in the beginning stages of this process and will they be taking care of these fees for you or have you been unable to get an answer?
