Cannot find my debt to pay

I'd suggest not worrying about it right now. If someone else owns the debt and wants to collect it, they'll certainly be getting in touch with you soon enough. And if nobody contacts you about it, well, then, who cares? :-)

I'm trying to find them so I can erase my debt. JMA went out of business and I don't know who bought my debt from them.

Well, I think you're crazy for wanting to hunt down someone who's most likely just going to hound you once you find them, but if it's that important to you, the information should be on your credit report.

They can't find me. For about 4 years now. I'm trying to clean up my credit but I cant seem to find out who bought my debt from JMA. My credit report only showed the first and second owner.

Then try and contact the original creditor. They might know

dispute with CRA if JMA is the last one who reported it and they are no longer then they cant verify it.
just a thought.

im in the same boat.. i took a payday loan from vc funding.. i think it keep geting sold.. i dont know who the owner of the debt is.. and its not on my cuurent credit report ether..what should i do.. not worry until they come after me.|?
