An Internet payday loan company placed a collection account on my Experian credit report. I got notice of this in an email (I use a credit monitor service with Experian) anyhow I disputed this claim, and I kid you not less than 10 business days later it was removed. So folks you need to monitor your credit reports and dispute any inaccurate information.

That's right. Inaccurate items can hurt the credit scores and you lose many good offers from the future lenders. One might have to pay higher interest rates just because the scores were down because of these errors.

If you are regular in viewing your credit file, you should be able to fix such discrepancies before any lender treats you to be a risk to their finance.
