Getting out of my payday loan quagmire

krapp58-what state you in? How much did you borrow and how much has been taken out of your account? Also, who did you borrow from and are they storefront or internet? Once we know this information we can help you straighten it out :)

we have 11 payday loan , and now we cant afford to pay them. ifound out in my state it is illegal for these companys to give me more than 1 loan at a time, and they are not allowed to extend the loan, and 1 of the company has 4 different names,i dont know what to do due,

In over my head - Can you post a bit more information? What state are you in? Who have you borrowed from? How much? How much have you paid back in fees so far?

You need to close the bank account that these companies have access to, and file complaints against them at your states dept of banking and attorney general's office to start.

Also, when you close your bank account ask your bank what their policy is on ach transactions going through closed accounts. Some banks will "force" open a closed account and allow the transaction to go through. If your bank does this, ask that the account be put on deposit only.

i know they broke the usery law,and the amount of loans they gave me,one of the loans was 300, i alreay gave them 4 payementof $90.00 for exteneding the loans which is illegal, can advis them that this loan is paid

If you've paid more then the legal amount, send them a letter requesting that the loan be marked paid in full . . . .

what are the laws about paying back loans, i have 6 and they broke the usery laws in my state , and the amount of loans they could give, i also live in fla. im notgoing to screw anybody but i just cant afford to pay them back?
