Okay, so I just posted a message about Payday Ok then went to their website (since they were the only one's to email me back saying they were looking at it). It said my account is past due. So I decided since I sent the same number of emails to Payday Select, I would check their website too. Theirs also says my account is past due. In fact their verbiage is the EXACT same as Payday OK's. What is really funny is Payday Select should refund about $1700 so I guess thats not too funny for them but really good for me...

Can someone please tell me if this is the norm so they don't debit my checking account?

They may still try to debit your account. They only way to be sure they won't is closing the account, or blocking all ach transactions. But even with the ach block they could still run a check through.

I though payday select and payday ok were the same company. I may be wrong, but I think I remember reading that in one of the threads here . . . . I just looked up the addresses on the BBB and they both have an address in Rudisio, NM . . .

It is the norm to have you account showing as past due after you default.

I think they are the same company. I received an email stating my Payday OK account had been marked PIF, it had all of my account information I had sent them in a previous email, but it came from Payday Select.

I have never defaulted on any of my loans, which is why I was asking if its normal for them to mark the account Past Due so they don't debit. Both of the payments are due on Monday for these companies (Payday OK & Payday Select).

I am going to the bank today to block both of these IPDL companies from pulling money out of my account. Unfortunately, I can't close it due to my husband getting paid on Monday and I get paid tomorrow. I would end up going negative and owing more money to the bank if they accept the payments. Then there is dealing with my husbands company to get his money if I close the account...

Can you block all ach transactions then? Just blocking a specific transaction doesn't work most of the time. They will debit for a different amount, or under a different company name.

Congrats again on the PIF!

I've never heard of them marking an account past due to stop the debits. I'm not sure what that's about, but since they have marked you PIF I wouldn't worry about it. Payday select will hopefully come around soon too! They may just be marking it past due becuase you are disputing it. It is probably just some internal stuff.

I just sent this email to Payday Select. Do you think its too much? And do you think a week is a reasonable amount of time to get a check in the mail and to my address?
