We were seeing a lot of secret cash card victims, then a few months ago it was everprivatecard. The websites for both are the same, they are the same company. I agree with Leah, that unless enough people complain, nothing will be done to stop them.
For anyone reading this that needs to request a refund, go to everprivatecardservice.com or secretcashcardservice.com. It's the same site whichever address you use, but there is a form there to request a refund.

Are the applicants applying for credit cards and then the company withdraws the money and doesn't give them the card?

It's my understanding that when applying for some payday loans and possibly some subprime credit cards, a box will pop up. If you don't select "no" then you've ordered the everprivate card, which is a "secret" prepaid debit card so you can purchase things online and they can't be traced back to you. You have to load money onto the card to use it. Most people don't even notice this box when it pops up, and just hit "I accept" because they think it's part of the payday loan or credit card application process. Everprivatecard gets your account info from the application you're filling out and then they hit your account for $49.95 for the "purchase price" of the card. Now if you were actually meaning to buy the card, you would still have to load money onto it. Since most people thought it was part of the application process for a payday loan or credit card, they are completly unaware that technically they just authorized everprivatecard to withdraw $49.95 from their bank account.
Again, to all those that need to contact everprivatecard, here is the contact info:

Everprivatecard
Very shady company.
They collect your bank info from online loan applications, and other similar sites, then form a pop up application with that information that
shows on your computer on a separate page. If you close the window without choosing to NOT apply, you are automatically enrolled, and
your bank account is charged. They clear it with a paper check that they create with your bank info, and clear it through a 3rd party bank.
I found the name and number of the owner online, and I recommend anyone that has trouble with this company call him immediately and
get resolution, you are wasting your time pursuing the online options for reimbursement. He was actually workable on the phone, and shelled
out over $24.00 in shipping to next day air a refund check to me. Maybe if enough people call him and explain how terrible his methods and
'customer service' is, it will stop........
His information is:

I guess I am not the only person they have done this to, And to I am having trouble to get in contact with them and get an answer. And it seems you sure can't get your money back. A suggestion I guess dont do anything online as fas as giving your information out.

Yes! I was grabbed by USA Credit, same type of deal though. They got 89.95 out of me and luckily I recieved the materials in time to cancel it before my extra 'free trial' of something else expired and they'd have started with an extra 20 a month! I was lucky to get materials so I could go through the cancellation process, because what I've read others haven't been so lucky at getting their money back.
I just got a new bank account and I vow to never ever put that information online again!
