I would try to contact the attorney that is handling the garnishment for Ford Credit and see if you can make an arrangement to pay them instead of having your wages garnished. That is what I am doing for some medical bills. What state are you in and who do you have payday loans with? Are they internet or storefront? How much have you borrowed/paid back? If you answer these questions we will be able to offer some more advice. Also does your school have a payment plan? I know the university I work for has a 10 month payment plan that anyone can use.
in over my head
I contacted the attorney and they told me that after 90 days I can negotiate a payment arrangement. After that it will almost be paid. I am in Michigan and they are taking over 300.oo out of my check and it is killing me. I have one pd avance online with check n go which is an installment loan, and the others are 2 storefronts: one is Cash Connection and the other just call themselves "cash Advance." I am waiting on the university to call me back about payment plans.
