Hi, I have read on here that several people are having issues with Geneva Roth Cap. They are pulling $90 out of my checking account evety 2 weeks and every time I call them they just put me on hold or disconnect me. I called the bank and they will charge me $30 for every 30 days that they have to place a stop pay on that debit. Can anyone help me get them to stop taking my money please???

Hi Leah,
I appreciate you replying. I spoke with the bank today and they told me that if I were to close my account and open a new one that the debit would find the new account and pull from the new one. Is there anyway to find out if PA allows loans from payday loan companies?

Yes, that is what the girl from my bank told me so I guess we will have to go to another bank to open an account. You mentioned sending a letter to revoke their right?..Is there a specific way to do that? Is there a special way to write the letter? I haven't heard of doing that so I am curious how to do it..?
Thank you!

Just type up a letter stating these things
1-I revoked your company and any sister company that you may have rights to debit from my account
2-I also revoke any voluntary wage assignment that I may have signed

That way if you do get a new account and they try to take money from it, you can show your bank that they did not have the right to do so and get your money back!

Hi, the bigger part of the problem is that I do not know who the loan is from. Is it Geneva Roth that gave me the loan? So, what I mean is, do I write " I revoke any and all authorization that I gave to Geneva Roth to debit any and all bank accounts that I may have and I revoke any voluntary wage assignment that I may have signed .."
Is that correct?

Ahh, good point. Thank you. There was also mention in a post about a section on this forum called " Books" or something where I can find forms to use or templates to use when I write the letters?
Also, would anyone happen to know where I can mail the letter? I can't seem to find them on the internet to get the address'

Geneva Roth ?
Cashtoday?

I have a reply email from these people telling me they can't stop the ACH withdrawals even though I revoked their priviledge. They will make three attempts. I told them I was reporting them to the FBI so they turned me over to a third party who is going to be very sorry they purchased this loan.Imagine that I actually have their refusal in writing. Thats what Jerks they are. I have them now operating as MTE in Oklahoma. They keep moving.

I wrote to Geneva Roth and then the letter I sent had been forwarded to the other address.PO BOX and it's never been picked up. They are not accepting letters I guess so they can continue to steal money from accts. I tt my bank. Even if you close your acct, if it's an electronic w/d you will be liable for the payment, since it will just reopen the closed acct. and then your in debt for that w/d and the fees for not having $$ in acct. It's a catch 22. Fixing to call bank now and see what they say about it now that I cant get an answer to my letter I sent certified.

I had 300.00 deposited in my account. I went to my bank to stop the withdrawals. I filled out the paerwork. I was debited again today. I am considering closing my account and starting a new one at a new bank even though this will complicate my life. I wonder if I can put my account on a complete block?
I feel my bank does not do enough to protect the concumer.I was hoping this company would just notify me about the deposit then I would have proof to show an attorney or some other fraud prevention group.

Geneva Roth is also known as Loan Point USA, they will charge you $30 extension fee for $100 you borrow. To pay off the loan you must email them a loan extension form marked clear any balance 4 business days before it is scheduled to be withdrawn from your account.

I have found out what to do to stop payment. You should recevie an e-mail from them approx 1 week before the $90 comes out of your acct. You must fill out the form and either e-mail it back or fax it to them a minimum of 4 days prior to the ach debit of $90 from your acct. If you do not do so, they will keep taking the $ out. They got me for over $1000 so far. Somewhere in small print on the contract for the payday loan, it states you must pay back all of what you borrowed within 2 weeks or they will take out $90 every 2 weeks. You must also fill out the e-mail sent to you to inform them you want to pay down your loan if you cannot pay all of it back in 2 weeks. You will receive this e-mail every 2 weeks until your loan is paid off. You must be sure to respond to this e-mail every time they send it or they will not put $ towards the loan payment. They will just take the $90. The e-mail comes thru as loanpointusa into your in-box. You must have your spam/pop-up blockers off or the e-mail will not come thru. Here is all the info I have on them to date:
800-351-8820 cust. service ph#, Geneva Roth Cap P.O. Box 148 Mission, KS 66201, fax # 800-351-8830. You can also email them a letter letting them know you want to pay down your loan, how much, and what date. Their email is: customerservice@loanpointusa.com I hope this helps anyone who has been mislead by this company. They really know how to take you for everything.

I just got off the phone with Geneva Roth. They have been charging me a fee of $120 every two weeks since May. Apparently there is a form that Geneva Roth is "supposed" to send to everyone who has a loan. This form is to "pay down" the loan. I just filled it out online. The $120 doesn't even go toward the principle of the payday loan.

Ok, I am also being taken by them for $150 every 2 weeks, my question though is that Ohio passed strict laws for payday loans in Nov. 2008,,, according to Check into cash they can only charge me $17.. to borrow $300 for 2 weeks,, yet this place is charging $150 every 2 weeks for $500,,, also CIC will says they can not extend a loan over 2 week due to the Ohio law.. So if I took out this loan after the new laws went into effect, how do I fight this... I think they can only charge me about $35 dollars plus the principal.....
thanks for any help.
