This really must be the newest thing. I was watching a commercial for Cash Call that said get $1000-$5000 in your bank account by tommorrow. After the payday loan nightmare I am always looking at commercials offering fast cash with major skepticism. All you need is an active checking account of course. WHAT BULL ! The payment is $211.00 for 48 months. THAT'S over $10,000. :x I can't believe the way some of these companies try to suck people in.

A friend of mine saw that commercial and had thought about applying for one of their loans until I told her to figure out how much she would actually be paying back and she could not believe how much it was. I told her it sounded enticing and the low payments, but with how much you would have to pay back, wasn't worth it.

These loans are almost worse then pdl's . . . . Since they are backed by banks they are following the laws, and the interest is so high that you end up paying nothing towards principle for the first 5 years! It's ridiculous . . . . I notice that in my area they only advertise during daytime tv . . . .

We have a PDL advertising here in Florida that charges interest higher than allowed in the state they are advertising in. How do they get away with it.

Frogpatch - They may be doing some fancy legal maneuver to get around the laws - For instance in PA a pdl cannot be located in PA, but advance america got around this by offering "lines of credit" and charging an outrageous monthly "participation fee". They are currently being sued in PA for doing this. I would contact your state's AG office and let them know what this company is doing.

Cashcall is avoiding the states that are cracking down on payday loans. They advertise on TV here but will not loan to WV customers. I personally am thankful. I would hate to see anybody get mixed up with this one. They are more dangerous because the lend higher sums of money. You could just keep paying for years and years. SAD!!! KYSIDE38

I can't believe how many PDL companies are out there.
I keep getting these "your approved cash is waiting" emails at work and at home. They used to come by the dozens but now they have dwindled down to a few. They all show the great looking happy person holding cash in thier hand as if their problems were over.

i did too but a couple don't show that option. I put them on the blocked senders list. A new one pops up now and then. Why do I get logged off?

It seems like when I go to the unsubscribe, I get twice as much. Someone had told me that sometimes when you use the unsubscribe, it is a way for them to verify that it is an active email address. Wish I could send all the emails back to the people that sent them to me without them knowing it was me! Flood their mail boxes.

 Hey guys
Well i'm one of the dummies that took a loan from cashcall, and boy i was wrong for doing that. they call my job every day three and four times. call all of my reference and told them that i took out a loan and because i was ten days late they have to find me and warn me to pay or else. one girl who works for them have called me all kind of names. i am a diabetic with cancer if i had the strength to talk to these fools i will. they try to take money out of my acct that is not there. stay away from them. they have gotten alot of people here in illinois. i did not know that the interest was that much. look at all the complaints on rippoff.com. if anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with them legally let me knw. email address removed for your protection - Goudah

I had the same thing...tons of spam from these places...but since I have started my work on dumping them I hardly get them anymore...however I did get an email from Nationwide...one of the pdls I sent to the AG and BBB....telling me what a great customer I was and how I was eligible for a larger loan if needed...LOL. I almost called cash call last month to borrow the money to pay off all the pdls...the evening of the day I had actually written down their number was when I found this site>>Fate saved me and all of you!!!!
This road isn't easy and sometimes I get scared cause things are not moving like I thought they would but then I spend little time here, talk to a few of you and I feel empowered again!!!

Oh, thank God I am a member of this forum! If I had seen that commercial on TV, I probably would have been STUPID enough to go for it! Don't stop and think about how much the payments add up to! Duh! This is why I'm on here. You guys know what's up! Holy crap! It's amazing what companies can get away with. You know, I wonder what these pdl's, Cash Call, etc.... do with ALL the overpayments from us unsuspecting people. I don't even want to think about how much money they have rolling in. They must be lounging around on gold covered furniture with fountains spouting champagne and overlooking an ocean in their offices.

From the way it seems, with them all having 1,000 different names, 1,000 different addresses, etc. One would think that it's one HUGE company somewhere on the oceanfront in a beach house living next to Brad Pitt and Madonna and driving 100,000 cars! They're probably having a party right now with all the stars! LOL!

Thank Goodness CashCall dosent lend here in my state. I would hate to see people ripped off by these people. They are dangerous. They lend higher sums of money and it takes years and years to even begin to pay them off. KYSIDE38

The commercials run non stop here on three different networks. Gary Coleman is all that I see especially in afternoon television. KYSIDE38

Gary Coleman has to be broke, has anyone seen him acting in anything lately? Although he does give an Oscar winning performance in the cash call commericals, I mean really how many people could do a commerical for those people and keep a straight face while doing it? He's either a good actor or he's into them for lots of money and he's working it out in trade!

Oh my God! Is that the Gary Coleman commercial??? Then they are playing it here! I never paid attention to it. Once I saw Gary Coleman, I'd just tune out! Holy crap!
