Can somone give positive feedback re Hess & Kennedy!

This is my story with Hess Kennedy; I called them to do the same that you are doing and I let my bills go and then about 3 months into the program I started to get the phone calls and I did what they told me to. I told them what Debbie @ Hess Kennedy in Fl told me to say. I took their name, number and told them to call the # Hess gave me. Well in one of my cases I had a dear friend whom I did business with @ Citifinanical and she worked in the loan dept. where she did all the calling to work with people like this to get the info. they need to get your acct back to normal. She talked with Hess Kennedy and the dude told her I was in Bankruptcy and that I would not be paying any of my debt. This was not true. Well he didn't know she was my friend and I hadn't told her about my trouble with debt because it was embrassing to me and she finally got ill with him after days on the phone with him and the nasty com. Stay away from them because they will tell you lies, take your money, put you on hold and never return your calls. This is how they lure you in and take your money. All the fees up front go to the lawyers and you are left with nasty credit remarks and it will take lots of years to get it back to normal. I've had to work with my friend and Citi to get my payment really low and I've managed to settle my accounts my self after being in Hess Kennedy for over 6 months and nothing happening to me or my accouts. I was not planning to do bankruptcy at all. They will lie like crazy. Pull out now and settle your debts your self and save lots of money in the process. Take it from someone who is still not sleeping well @ night but I'm getting there one day at a time. You can settle I know you can, If I can do it anyone can. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Read all the info. here on Hess Kennedy and go to the BBB and look them up. It isn't good at all!! STAY AWAY FROM HESS KENNEDY!!

Oh my gosh lou lou they told people you were doing bankruptcy??? That is awful. You should have sued them. Thanks for posting this story. It will be very helpful to people that come here looking for information on Hess Kennedy. Are they affiliated with CCCA? If so, I came so close to using them before I found this forum to settle my payday loans!!

Yes this is my story and I'm stick n to it. I've been out of money I'll never get back and now I'm left sittn here and no money. I'm so sick to my stomach that I talked my self into this mess. My mom told me you need to make sure of this. Well, now mom was right!! I'm sorry for all of the other people who are in the same mess but have paid more money in than me. I don't see how a company like this can stay in business and get away with it. How can they do this? I wish someone would go to Fl. and see who and how they operate. You can't trust a comp. like this because they give all lawyers bad names. It's a shame and disgrace they take innocent people and pray on them. One day they will get their pay. It may take years, but God will not let people like this last long. I've had to pray a lot everyday for getting in debt like this, I lost my job, have two kids to take care of and I got myself into this mess. I'm going to college now for 2 1/2 years and I'm graduating this weekend with my 2 yr. degree and I'm happy for doing this. It's been a long road dealing with all this and Hess Kennedy on top of that. I have lots of gray hair now due to the stress from my debt. Everyone just be safe and stay away from this comp. and don't let them take anymore of your money. BEWARE OF HESS KENNEDY FORUM!!!!

lou lou, first of all, congratulations on getting your degree. That is a great accomplishment and as a fellow college student with a job and a family too, it is really not an easy task to juggle all that. I am so sorry about what has happened to you. I am glad that you were able to settle your accounts on your own. Unfortunately a lot of people do not realize they can settle accounts on their own; I for one never knew this until I came to this forum. It is horrible that there are companies that prey on consumers, knowing that they are desperate and do not know any better. How much did you pay them to do nothing for you? Perhaps you may have some recourse.....don't you hate it how parents are right most of the time LOL?
