Hello, I have several payday loans that I am unable to pay at once, I want these people to stop calling my job and my references, I would like to set up a payment plan but I really don't know what to do. I closed my checking account and opened up a new one. Here are the companies, they all are internet companies

US FAST CASH
CASHNET USA
CASH 2day 4u
Cash Central.

Can someone give me some guidance on how to handle these companies

It's a pain dealing with some of them. You need to draft a proposal letter with your payment plan and send it through certified mail to their mailing address. Mention that you will be sending your money as per the plan after they agree to work on your terms. You may have to negotiate for some time until they agree to work with you. They might sound hard in the beginning, stick to your guns.

Hi daffenien, welcome to the forums. You have taken a couple very important steps already into taking your life back from these internet payday loan companies, since you already closed your checking account and opened a new one.

You will find the Payday loan laws for Texas here (just select your state),

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html

Are these all internet loans? Cashnet USA is licensed in the states it lends to as far as I know. It is likely that the others are not licensed to do business in Texas. How much did you borrow and how much have you paid each of these places so far? Let us know and then we can help you further and perhaps someone else from Texas will come soon and give you specific info. Again, welcome :)
