I have sent of dispute letters to one of my creditors with out any response? What is next? Sample letter?

Welcome to the Forums :D are talking about a debt validation letter, there is no time limit to which they follow to respond. I have been sending letters to one company for over a year now, and the only response has been a computer generated paper from them showing one payment in 2004, and one in 2006!.Send them a follow up DV letter, state you are still waiting for the full debt validation-return receipt..Good Luck..KAren

Alright answer to first question.Since account is reporting incorrectly, dispute it thru the three credit bureaus.A paid collection can be removed if it is reporting incorrectly and data furnisher refuses to follow the fair credit reporting act. Inquiries do hurt your score, but it is a very small difference so I would recommend tackling the bad accounts first before worrying about them. In my signature are links to the fdcpa & FCRA.Please read them completely so you undestand what you can do to fix your report.
