do my store front payday loans in Il have to be in default before Longehorne Law or T&W can help me, I renewed the contract without having to pay anything, but now its just prolonging it. check n go; i have to stop payments every other week on the checks i wrote to them, really confused. havent heard anything from a chapter 13 attorney; trying to get him to accept payments up front to start it. my credit has been messed up my whole life since i was 13 years old, i really donkt know anything else, just that i need help and advise from u all. i have gotten some great advise so far.

james, they do not have to be in default, but when I contacted Langhorne a few months ago they said that they do not do storefronts. T & C does. Is there another attorney you could call about the chapter 13 if this one is not getting back with you? Hang in there, you can make it through this. PM me if you need to talk. Also, before you sign with anyone, check out their record with the BBB and any other agency you can find. You need to take care of the storefront loans, as they usually follow the law and tend to like to sue!! If you have any questions, please ask,we will guide you through the process..Karen
