I recently sent a letter to equifax concerning errors on my credit report. They replied and said I must contact CSC credit services. That "EQUIFAX DOES NOT MAINTAIN OR SERVICE THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN YOUR CREDIT FILE" Last time I checked the report I got online said equifax. This makes no sense to me.

Equifax does use CSC for dispute resolutions for certain parts of the country. In my State we have to use them. Their website does not work very well in that the password situation makes no sense. Each time I used it I had to set up the account using the password formula for registration. Then after confirmation I had to request a new password via the forgot password link. That password works.

You may think that by entering info you will be able to go back and check the status of your dispute. This is not the case. Once you have entered your dispute, the username you created is deleted. When you receive the resolution it will be by US mail and will be accompanied by a revised credit report.

I had a very thorough dispute letter listing accounts and a brief synopsis for validation as verification does not work. Their web site is horrible. I have since sent letters certified to their company.

Wow, this is amazing. I having more issue with EQUIFAX then most credit agencies. I sent a dispute and they send me a letter saying if i dont send them my a photocopy or my SS# or a pay stub or Driver License or Utility Bill there will not process my claim until i send them this info. The have to be out of there minds. I not sending all that. That is the biggest identity theft risk if i ever read one. Is anyone else having issue with disputing a claim on there EQUIFAX report. I know that the payment will fall off in 20012 but it not mine and i wanted it off sooner. But it look like im going to have to wait until it does unless i can get EQUIFAX to get there bleep together.
