Hello,
I too have been suspicious of this co who with another payday online preditory spam lender has taken over 1200 in my checking account. I submitted a form to search for a loan, thru Pdl.com & I got a few responses. I did sign with United Cash and Payday one. I got a call from someone "D" with a charming accent at Cash2day & he tried to get me to apply for more. I think I made a mistake becasue he recorded me, and I did not sign the last form (electronic sign). So, when I checked with bank a week later I had 4 loans, all small 200 to 250 ea. & one reference #! I only responded to 2, and it seems 3 of these deposits (and w/d's( were all at the same time! They said they were not affiliated, but one was "Cash2day" & "E-Payday, & Payday1. The later was pretty reasonable, but the 1st 2 were horrible fees and took out many different amounts. The bank said "we can not stop on it since we do not have any info on the loan cos & the amounts are always differrent. I got thru to the 800#, and was told they were in "London, England." Then, I discovered they were in Reno, Nevada. I was harrased at work, and called about 20 times a day. I have been suspended and I was already on lwop fmla with my child so sick. I am near bankruptcy but can't even afford that. We are literally starving to death and more depressed than ever. It took me 6 weeks and 300 in nsf fees to get the bank to close the account (checking). Theses "lenders" got alot of money, mainly fees and I was literally threatened & told "we will take any measure to get our money..." and he assured me he would. I take that as a threat. I have reported this to federal agencys and am on guard with my life. How do you get help in this situation??? Me
p.s. The 3rd party company that refered me to these preditory lenders also has a device to monitor your computer and remove all spam blocks. That is very illegal and that has also been reported. Check your software and change all your security, etc.

The people from Reno/England are illegal in just about every state in the union. They also operate under the name route 66 and BIG. They will harrass you and threaten you . Just hang up on them and report there actions to your Attorney General and the FTC. They have already been fined 50,000 dollars for their activities. They cannot do a thing to you beside call and harass. They will call you from India or someplace. Just tell them they are crooks and you have filed criminal complaints. Then hang up. This group is a real bunch of low lifes. They will enventually just leave you alone when they realize that they can't intimidate you. What state are you in? You have probably payed them more than the law in your state permits.
Also file a complaint with the OCC if you feel that the banks charges were not your fault. You will be surprised at how cooperative they will become. The Office of the Controller of Currency is the watchdog for national banks for the feds.

Marie ~ Don't let these people scare you. Just out of curiosity, what state are you in? Some stated payday loans are illegal or prohibited. Some states have very strict laws regarding roll overs and such.

Will you post how much you borrowed from each, how much you paid to each and what state you are in? This will help with some more of your problem. Do file the complaints as Frogpatch suggested also.

But do not be afraid of these people. They will say anything to try to get more money from you.

Please calm down. You do not need to be in fear of your life. I am sorry for the situation that these places have put you in. They are professionals at intimidation and threats. You have taken the first step in closing out your bank account. If you answer the questions above we will do what we can to help.
