question about cra

Ok i have a question about cras. I got married in nov. I called transunion and told them i wanted my credit reports to reflect my married name. They stated that i can not add this. Is this true? They stated that all my creditors would have to change my name on their files. Most of my credit is with cbs that i am trying to validate. I do have several new accounts with my husbund and i ask that those be added. But this name thing has me stumped. I no longer use my maiden name and my id and ss card both have my married name. Any help on this is greatly appreiciated.

Send them a letter with your correct name along with copies of driver's license and demand they correct report in accordance with FCRA.Another thing to remember,STAY OFF THE DARN phone!! If it is not in writing,it never happened.
