My husband and I have over 17000 in CC debt, plus 2 vehicle loans and a student loan. We are just getting by and have just missed our first CC payment this month. Is it true that they could really cut the amount we owe and lower our monthly payment? If this were to happen I think we could make it. It seems too good to be true.
