When you open a new account -- make sure it is with a different bank. If you open one with the same bank, they can indeed find out the new account and debit. If you didn't authorize these debits, report it to the bank. They have 45 days to investigate, or else be in violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer act.

Great advice from LawStudent. Close that account now, do not pass go, and do not collect $200 :) Once many of these places start, they keep taking your money and do not stop unless you close that account immediately.

Also you might not know this but if youapply for a new internet loan they can find out your new account information even if it is with a new bank. So be careful with that.
Loan Payment
The same thing happened here, I borrowed in August 2008 and paid $90 dollars a payday and for 5 months for a $300 dollar loan. This is a huge fee for such a little amount. Ten payments at $90 dollars is $900.00 dollars far exceed the amount for $300.00 dollars these folks are scamming.

i really believe that there should be some type of regulation with these payday loans. I myself have not ever applied for them but i hear such awful things about them and have glad that i have never used their services. I am too glad you found this site and the above post is correct we have all had our own financial troubles so welcome to to the club!!!! debt trouble is very overwhelming and stressful so take a deep breath and a long bath(that always helped me relax) then come up with a game plan. close the account, open a new one at a new bank. or you could take your chances at reporting it to your bank talk to them and see what they can do for you.
