payday loan settlement

Hey everyone!! I was wondering what is the proper way to try and settle with payday lenders? On a couple of my loans i have paid the principal balances in fees and xtra money that i authorized them to draft. as of right now i havnt had to close my account. do i need to close it in order to settle with them?
