chances are they are not liscensed in any state let alone oh but if you go to paydayloaninfo.org and click on OH it has a link to liscensing. I am in OH also and have only found one internet PDL to be liscensed and that is CashnetUSA

Thanks for your help. Cashnetusa is one I have as well. I am very worried can't sleep etc. I closed my bank account and they were real jerks about it. The bank manager said if they come back with a ledger it can force the account to reopen. That means the will ding me for NSF Fees. I already told the bank I would not pay it as I wanted the account closed. My husband and i are seriously considering Chapter 13. The biggest problem at the moment is the payday loans because we can't pay the normal bills (elec, gas, rent). Thanks for your help and thanks for listening.

Thanks to everyone who is helping to answer these questions. How do I revoke a voluntary wage assignment? Through my employer or through the internet payday lender? I am very worried about the phone calls i will get at work. Is there a way to request they work with me through email?

Just write "I revoke any and all wage assignments I may have signed with XXX Company." Send it certified mail to the internet pdl, but keep a copy for your employer.

You can send them a cease and desist communication at work letter, but odds are they won't adhere to it. I would be prepared for many calls at work. One thing you can do is tell your coworkers your identity has been stolen. That way it cuts down on the embarrassment factor.

has anyone delt with b l marketing pdl's? i got a small loan from them in march and i lost my job not to soon after and i haven't paid them yet. today i got a threating phone call from a place call united investigation services saying that they have court paper filed against me and that at 12 noon today i would be arrested and whatnot else. well i didn't get arrested as i here now wititng this. what do i do? im in pa and they called me from nj. is it illegal from them to call me saying that and if so what should i do about it?
