I need to know of a good company that is not going to mess up my credit even more. I need to do something with my debt and I dont know what company to choose. There are so many out there and I know a few people who have joined a debt program and in the long run got more in debt and made their credit even worse please someone help me I need advice very badly.

Before signing up with anyone, check them thoroughly with your attorney general, BBB and the FTC. They are the places where the consumers will report first if there are problems with any company.
Why not you negotiate with the creditors on your own? You can make them work on your terms and stick to the plan. This might turn out as your best decision in becoming debt free and you won't have to rely on any outside help.
