I love you guys and I know I am supposed to email you all but I have been working tirelessly all day on my bk stuff and didn't really have time to email or chat or even post on the forum at all today so I just wanted to apologize. It might be a couple days before I am back here very much cause I took today off work to do all this paperwork. I didn't want anyone to think I got to HOF then ran off!!!

Love you all!
Sass

I have been trying not to each as much take out as I use to and drink more water (I like the sparkling flavored water), and I have a big bag of animal crackers in my desk so I can snack a little without feeling guilty, but now I have gained weight, which my dr contributes to what is going on with me right now as far as stress and such, so hopefully the medicine they have me on right now will help and things will start changing.

I thought diet sodas didn't have that many calories in them. Most diet drinks I cannot stand. There are a few out there that are pretty good, but not too many.

Let me tell you, that coffee sure tasted good this morning when I got here to work! Think I will have some tea when I get lunch! MORE CAFFEINE!!!

No, diet sodas are not bad but they don't really have any nutritional value. And some say that the artificial sweeteners are no good but they are better than sugar!!! I don't really like diet pop either except for diet sunkist or diet root beer. But given a choice, I will take regular coke or mountain dew any day!!

You take today and do what you have to do sass. I hope it's not too overwhelming for you. Hubby and I did bk years ago and it felt overwhelming somedays getting things together. I drink Pepsi all day in addition to regular coffee and if I stopped drinking it I know I would drop a few pounds. Dr. told me a few years ago that if you drank a 12 oz can of soda every day and stopped drinking it for a year you would lose 25 pounds--sorry to say I haven't tried that yet lol!!

I am much better now!! I got all the papers turned in..will pay the attorney fee and filing fee Friday, then wait for 4-6 weeks to go to court. It was pretty overwhelming to do the paperwork but I think that is the worst part of it and how hopefully I will be able to rest better. I was just afraid I was going to leave something out but she told us that they can add stuff in for up to 6 months for $26 so that made me feel better.

It is SO hard to quit drinking the pop isnt it? It tastes so good. I quit for a while and I did lose weight like right away but I have since put it back on.

Your kitty is so cute!!!!!!!

Good for you suebee! I did really good with the water for a long time but once I got started back on pop I can't stop and I have not drank much water at all in the last couple months. I sure could notice a difference weight wise when I did though. That and I had to pee like 45 times a day LOL

Suebee, I am not really addicted to coffee either, but do enjoy it in the mornings. Like you, I drink maybe 2 to 3 cups and then I am done. But the decaf just doesn't taste like coffee to me but more of a watered down version without the full flavor. Maybe it is just me on that, but I am not crazy about it. Not one of those that drink it all day long.

With all this going on lately, I have been drinking the flavored water. There are several differnt flavors, so I can drink what I like. I think a lot of it has to do with the carbination more than anything. I like the fizz!

Um, I don't want to admit it, but I'm a heavy pepsi drinker too. Everyone at work makes fun of me and my can collection. I usually drink 6 cans from 6am to 11:30am, when I leave for lunch. Then I have at least 4 more in the afternoon from 12:30 to 4pm, then I go to 711 and get a 44oz big gulp . . . . That usually runs out by about 7:30pm so I'm back to the cans, unless it's a weekend night, in which case I go back to 711 and get another 44 . . . . . And yes, the 711 employees know me well . . . .
