What does everyone think of the new blog hunt? It is getting tons of referrals for new blogs, do you think they are useful blogs? I like it when community blogs were the only ones that were submitted, just my opinion. It encourage members to build blogs. Older members have some great blogs and are really involved in the site effort. I am not real sure I understand the voting weight either, blogs with no site member comments or community votes or votes period are at the top of the voting. I find it a little discouraging. Just wanted to know what everyone else's thoughts were on it.

Sass, I know you were surprised to see those types of blogs :) . There are so many, so many people blogging these days. It's one very good way of earning money. Sometimes, it's just for that purpose but for most of the times, people share good information through their blogs.

Please send me a request and I will create a blog space for you in this website. Then you can put anything in your blog like some stories you want to share, any informative article, photos, music etc.. A blog is your personal space. You can pull maximum visitors to your blog and earn money through adsense.

We have few members here having their. See how they have maintained their individual blogs.

fedupinpa, since the bloghunt contest is on, many people will submit their blogs and participate. It's obvious that it will be a mixture of good and bad ones. Be sure that only good ones will stay at the top and everyone will vote for it.

Everyone interested in having a blog, let me know. I will make the arrangements for you.

Simon

This is just my personal opinion.

When a community member came up with Blog hunt idea we wanted to restrict it to YDF blogs (community blogs). But after a long discussion we had following summarized points:-

  • DebtCC community has no (and should never have) territories, we (should always) appreciate everyone who is offering a helping hand to people in debt. Blogs thus belong to our global community as they are there to offer personal experiences with debt (finance in general).
  • Blog Hunt can act as a broader platform. Community members will get to know a lot of blog (bloggers) with helpful experiences and expertise.

So at a personal level I am very excited to discover the worldwide community helping people in debt but from heart I always help out community bloggers with marketing and technical issues (all possible help) for a better reach.

Well I am not sure I understand the blog hunt but it seems like every time I look, it shows sites about dog training pads and stuff???

Blogs are generally a bloggers experiences, so it has a mix of experiences. Some from finance world and some from other areas of blogger's interest. We try to clean up blogs with irrelevant contents. Please do let us know if there are blogs which are not helpful for the community.
