Hi everyone,

Well, I had my husband deal with the car loan people yesterday because our car payment was due on the 11th and there is no grace period on the loan. He bascially told them if you take away my car, then I won't be able to pay you because I need the car to get to work. They agreed to set up payment arrangements for payday (next week) and he also did a post-dated check for the next month's payment. At least I won't have to worry about them repo'ing the car.
I felt a lot better after talking to Stacy at T & C Wednesday regarding consolidating the pdls and repurcussions with the legal ones. Has anyone has any experience with any of the storefront loans refusing to work with T & C? They are Advance America and Checkmate and my husband and I both have loans with them. We've decided to leave out the personal loan and credit cards that report to credit burueaus in the debt management and deal with them on our own. I don't want to take the chance of a ding on credit.
