Prayers Please

You will be in my prayers Mishele. My grandmother past away from breast cancer in 1996, I have also been through my own ordeal with cancer (18 years ago and I'm still here). I really hope it isn't anything, I had a lump removed and biopsied and luckily it was nothing. I pray the same will be for you.

Hi Mishele, please stay positive. It's not what you are assuming. This time, next week, you will be saying about the positive results in your reports. There are many prominent symptoms before it gets to the point of having cancer. You have enough time to get it treated, if there is something. But I am quite sure, there is nothing to worry. I will be praying for your good health :)

Ok Mishele - take a deep breath. I aleady have you on the prayer line so let God take care of the unknown. I know that the fear of something is much worse than the reality. You are doing all of the right things and right now there is really not much for you to do but pray and gather all of those whocare about around you. Both your friends here and your family and friends there with you. this is the time that you need all of the support that you can get I am pming you. Just remember that you don't have a diagnosis yet so try to keep the fear away - it tends to blow things out of proportion. Love and prayers - Colleen

Oh hun...how awful this week must have been for you. Of course you will be in my prayers. But, just remember that even if it is cancer....they have come so far along in this area now that it is incredible. Just know that i will be praying for you. Yes Steelers, I am happy to hear about your positive reports. :) Everything cannot be called "cancer".

You know that you will be in my prayers. Think positive. I know that is easier said than done, but try. I am sending nothing but good thoughts and positive "vibes" your way!!

Ditto....positive....more than likely it is just 1 of those stupid lumps...I can't remember the name...but they don't even do anything about them. So try very hard to put your worries in God's hands and all will be fine.

Mishele...I am pming you my cell phone number. I just went through this very same thing, and had a harmless(thank God)tumor surgically removed.The waiting for test results was the worst thing I've ever encountered. Please remember, you don't need to be afraid of anything. Please call me, I am a great listener, and I've just been there. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks everyone for the support. I really do appreciate it. Fins, I will try to call you soon. I spent the entire day in the yard, gardening. It's one of my favorite hobbies and it helped keep me occupied. It helped keep my mind busy which is a good thing. Right now, it's a shower and off to bed. I'm going to be doing the same thing tomorrow.

Mishele - I expect some pretty veggies from that garden! Or at least some pics posted of the fruit of your labors! :D

We had the veggie garden already planted. I was planting flowers yesterday but I will share veggies. I have more flowers to plant today but I'm very sore. I think I overdid it yesterday.

I hear that, Mishele - but it sure does help keep the mind occupied. I spent all day yesterday cleaning a condo (now my 3rd job), and I'm SORE today too! :-)

3rd job, Sue? Wow girl you need to slow down a little bit. I have two and that's enough. I can't imagine three :? My doctor's office called today and I have an appointment Wednesday afternoon. I guess I will get the results then. :(

yes good thoughts are with you...and, even though I haven't posted in a while...I have kept you in my thoughts and prayers. Got my fingers crossed? Hey do you know where that actually came from...crossing your fingers? It was an old way for Christians to let other believers know who they were. So keeping your fingers crossed is a good thing!

Mishele, you will be in my thoughts and remember as scary as it is it is better to test on something like this. I am facing a gallbladder surgery and a stress test soon and they both scare the heck out of me.I just don't like doctors with knives.

I didn't know that. It's an expression that I use a lot so I'm glad that it is positive :-) Cajun, I don't like doctor's with knives either. I have some errands to run this morning and then I'm working 2nd shift today. Temp jobs, ya gotta love them. :lol:

Mishele-I am sorry to hear about what you are going through. I haven't been on in a while myself, mom not feeling well, sis-in-law had a stroke and paralyzed,yada yada. My prayers are with you. Thank you for your prayers. It's so good to see you on the boards, if only for a little while. You are truly missed around here :) I'm sorry to hear about your family and I will keep you guys in my prayers as well.

There was nothing nasty, just some communication gap and difference in thoughts, maybe. Mods, debt Samaritans and the new members and guests together make this forum. It will be a good place if no confusions boil up between old and new members. This is one place where we often stay, let's fill it with love and care for everyone.

Mishele, Karen.. I will be praying for you'll. Sometimes life gives a kick on the back. We have to face it, as it comes, with a strong mind.

Thanks aciotsf. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. That has been a life lesson for me.

So good to see you post :-) Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. I'm going to need them because Friday I go see the oncologist. I wll get another battery of tests done. I'm going to the same cancer institute that my Mom went to. I know that I am in good hands :-)

Mishele thoughts are with you. I went through all this with my mom-in-law, she doesn't drive, so I was in charge - and even though it wasn't me personally, it was scary. I will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong girl!!!

Well, I was able to get in this morning instead of this afternoon. They called me first thing this morning so I figured I might as well get it done and over with. I wish I had more to report but they are waiting on the pathology reports to come back. Of course, I had the exam and all that fun stuff. They took enough blood to feed a village of vampires for a week. I go in for a CT Scan next week. That's all I know for now.
