And I'm certain you can use all of them, but I wouldnt until they're paid off...and then I'd get rid of any cards you don't really need.
YOu can choose what you consolidate, so if you don't want to consolidate one, that can be the sole card you use.

Hi Judy,
When your credit cards are under consolidation program, it will not be a wise decision to use them, as it will increase the length of the program.
You can use the credit cards, which are not under consolidation program, but you are supposed to be very careful, because your intention should be to clear all your debts as quickly as possible and once your accounts are paid in full, you will regain your credit worthiness, which will be reflected in your credit report.
If you have more than one credit card, you can decide how many of them are to be consolidated. You can also take a help from a counselor for this purpose.
Hope you find this information useful.

Hi Judy,
Welcome to the forums. You will not be able to use the cards that will be put in the debt consolidation program. They will be closed in the program with an intention that you don't build additional debt into that particular account.
If the accounts are kept active in the debt consolidation program and more debt is built into it, it will seem like chasing a moving target.
You can keep one good card outside the debt consolidation program and keep it paying regularly. You can use this card specifically for emergency purposes.

Hi Missy,
After you have completed all your payments through the debt consolidation program, the accounts included in the program will be shown as "Paid in Full" or "Paid as Agreed" in your credit report.
This will show to your future creditors that you have completed payments towards all your past debt through the debt consolidation program and you will be able to regain your financial worthiness from the present situation.
You can also enter into a professional counseling after registering yourself in the sign up page and know your available options.
