I received letter back.
I received a letter back from UNIFUND stating the dates I opened the account and when it was charged off. What does that mean? Charged off?
They also provided a link for me to go to resolve.unifund.com where it shows the account debt they are trying to collect.
Has anyone heard of UNIFUND? And if so...are they willing to work with you regarding payments? My last interaction with a creditor left me feeling threatened as the collector was yelling at me on the phone.
Please Advise.

OK. I've done some deep digging here is an excellent site on devious CA's the site is actually ran by a man who trains CA's and he has actually helped debtors sue CA's. His site is full of dirt on these bad collectors. Scroll down carefully and look to your right, you should click on the investigative archives and if you keep scrolling down farther to the bottom you will find a list of dirt on alot of CA's and UNIFUND has quite a bit.
