I need your take on the spam topics coming in the forums.

If you see someone has posted replies to the spam "thanks" topics and because of it, those moderating their boards don't delete the entire thread, all these topics will stay here and won't do any help. Besides, it will look bad if after every seven to ten topics, there's a topic called "thanks" saying good website and visit theirs.

So, tell me if it's ok deleting the whole topic even after replies are posted. If you'll agree, the mods can start deleting them. :)

Regards
Mike

Just a small update! :) Our technical team is working on the spam posts and seems like the problem is identified. We have to do some tests before we execute any programming change. I guess it won't take long to fix. Thanks everyone for your co-operation and deleting the spams right through. It's a pleasure seeing you all distributing the work and keeping your board in order.

Regards
Mike

Yes, whenever any mod first sees a spam, please feel free to delete. People who are new to this moderating role, you will see an "edit" and "delete" button in every post. When you click the X button, the spam will be deleted.

We are doing some hard coding in our system to stop the flow. The spams are generated by an automated software. So, we are trying to get to the base and solve the problem permanently. Thanks for your co-operation. :)

Regards
Mike
