Ask Arrowhead Investments to show you details of the debt in writing before you are ready to pay. You must review all the charges and the actual standing of the loan before placing a proposal. Read others who are dealing with the same company.

Sounds like iCollect is sending the loans they buy from Arrowhead to United Pay Services instead of Bass these days. File a complaint with your state AG. PM me if you need addresses, phone numbers, etc.

I have been having the same issues with this United Processing company. Coming to this website was the best thing that could have happened for me, because if I had to go this on my own, I'd probably lock myself in a closet for fear that these people were really going to have me arrested!
I called Arrowhead Investment (after finally finding their contact information on your website!) and they told me that there was nothing more they could do for my account because it had been sold to iCollect. She gave me the phone number for iCollect, and I am planning to call it this afternoon after I leave work. United Processing is the company that had called me repeatedly. I haven't heard from them in a few days, but I can't guarantee that they won't start calling again. I'm just trying to get some clarification on what to do. Should I call iCollect? Should I request a debt validation letter from United Processomg? How should this be handled?
Thanks in advance for your answers, and all of the answers I have gotten to previous questions just by reading the posts on this website!

Op & Amy,their threats are illegal and hold no legal grounds to stand on.You cannot be arrested for defaulting on a payday loan.Send the collector a debt validation letter certified return receipt. If they still harass you after the dv letter, proceed to a full cease & Desist letter certified return receipt.Under no circumstances are you to give them any banking or credit card information. The only reason I mention a c&d letter on this post is the very bad reputation that this collector has. If you have not already done so,contact your attorney general and the better busines bureau to file a complaint. File a complaint in the state where their office is too.

Cajun - Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly! I did file a complaint with the Attorney General (just sent it in yesterday). Is there a template to use for a debt validation letter? I feel kind of silly asking, but I'm so new to this and just definitely want to get all of this taken care of.

Review the three weblinks in my signature at bottom of my post.
Review the three weblinks in my signature at bottom of my post. The third link is for a validation letter.Reword it to fit your debt and fire it off to them.

Arrowhead Investments
Yesterday my Immediate Supervisor at my place of work received a phone call from an "Officer Adrick Maxom" claiming he was from USBI (United States Bureau Investigation) and that he was calling to inform that I was going to be arrested in 2 hours for criminal and civil activity, money laundering and bank fraud. He first spoke to the secretary, told her the same thing. The contact # he gave was 520-720-0825 and said he was located in AZ. I called him and "played along" to hear what he had to say. He said that I owed $820.00 (for a $300.00 loan with Arrowhead Investments) within 2 hours otherwise they were going to come to work and arrest me. He gave me information to go to Western Union and wire the money to an Attorney by the name of Chiraq Rami in Wheeling, IL. He also gave me the name of Mr. Robert Williams who he stated was the Managing Director of Arrowhead Financial. His number was 313-344-0029. After I hung up with Adrick Maxom, I called this 313 number. He only answered by saying "hello". Did not represent the company in any way. I asked to speak with the Attorney Chiraq Rami and he hesitated and then said he was at court filing claims against people. At this time, I thought he sounded like the fist guy I spoke to (Adrick). I advised both of them that I would be working on getting payment to them. After finding your website yesterday and reading stories that sounded exactly like mine, I filed a claim with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). I called "Officer Adrick Maxom" back this morning and advised that I had contacted the FTC and that this would be handled in another matter. He said he would be calling my Manager by Noon and have me fired! Here's another funny note - he couldn't keep his stories straight. Yesterday he left several messages on my cell phone where at which one time he announced himself as "Officer Robert Williams" - he was screwing the names/titles up (who he was pretending to be) Anyway, in 2006 I did have several pdls....bad time in my life which thankfully I am passed. All loans have been paid. I even bought a house a couple of months ago - and God knows how your credit history shows up there. If you owe a dollar for anything - it will show up. I don't have any paperwork showing paid in full with Arrowhead - but I cannot find a number anywhere to contact them. I had already been trying when these phone calls started yesterday. Even though my gut feeling kept telling me this was a scam, I did feel much better after reading other stories out here. I'm just sorry for any of us who have to go through this. It is rehashing a bad time in my life. Thanks for all the links and information.
