In case any of you all are doubting the power of the Attorney General in your state here is one settlement that was reached this month. First American Cash Advance (Storefront) based out of South Dakota has agreed to forgive 616,000 dollars in defaulted loansfor 2700 consumers. Also 22,000 will be given in refunds to nearly 400 consumers in this state. I urge anyone who lives in states where payday lending is ILLEGAL PLEASE report to Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. KYSIDE38

I think the fight is going to go Nationwide also. People can not continue to pay these kinds of interest on these loans. I do know that Nevada is taking a personal interest in payday loans and are looking hard at the industry. We all have just got to band together and fight. KYSIDE38

Come on down KS, we would be glad to have you. Life is sorta slow paced here. A lot different than what you are used to I am sure. KYSIDE38
