I currently have a loan out with Cashland for $650 that will be Tuesday. I know today I don't have the money to pay them. In the past they have cashed my checks. I know these will bounce considering I'm already -300 in my bank account. Has anyone ever dealt with these people? I'm in OH

I've set up a repayment plan with Cashland via T&C, and Cashland is still sending me letters threatening legal action against me. Cashland is even saying they haven't received any payments from T&C even though T&C says they've sent Cashland payments. Cashland is being very difficult to work with - but all of my pdls and creditors are being difficult to work with, and I don't understand why. I wish I had more positive news to give you of my experience with Cashland, but I don't. I'm sorry.

Request T&C to show you the statement copy of the payment done. You will be sure of what's going on in your account. There's nothing to worry as long as the pdl place is accepting your money from T&C. They want to deal with you directly but you have already done the arrangements with T&C.

Cashland I think is one of the worst to work with. I'm with T&C also and Cashland sent me to a collections named Professional Recovery Assoc and the collection guy is nasty. I sent a Cease letter to them and luckly the phone calls have stopped. But PRA told me they will not work with TC and T&C is only for baby's who can not pay their bills and they need someone to hold their hand to pay their bills. I'm waiting on TC return phone call to see if they have cashed any checks they sent out.

Ryan--
What the collector told you was totally inappropriate, first of all. I would definately check to see if Cashland has cashed the checks, because if they have, I've got news for that collector, they have accepted your arrangement. And that is something you can throw in their faces the next time they call!

I hope they call me because I sent them a letter to cease all communications to me and any reference by certified letter. Every other day the collector would call and just say totally unappropriate comments to me, like does my work know I'm a theif, do they know your signuature means nothing, and the baby comment.

I also have a loan out with them and they did take me to court and 5 days before my hearing I sent them a check for the amt that was in the court documents. I filed with the court the check and that it was certified and overnighted to them . I recieved the check back in the mail with a letter stating I owed them more money than was stated in the earlier court documents ( I sent the check with the interest that would have accrued) and that they wouldnt accept the personal check as payment . Can they do this ? I tried to pay them back and the letter was rude and nasty and also she called me on the phone. I think the judge threw the case out because as far as he was concerned I had paid them. Can they still take me to court for a second time, or since I filed with the court the payment and they refused it is it on them?
