Unfortunately I had to go to check n go and California Check Cashing today...My bank wont put my funds back in my account for a few days and I sent bills off already...geeze i need to start saving for things like this!

Feel your pain guys, I live in a two income household and live that way from my own overspending habits, I have been getting better. Just when I think I am doing real good, taxes or something comes in, it is so frustrating. Right now it is back taxes and credit card lawsuits to worry about. Hate to wish my life away, but wish it was like a year from now, LOL.

Words from someone who knows... It is very hard to gain control but getting rid of PDL's is the best way to start. I guess check cashing is better. Do a few simple things.. limited going out to eat, take your lunch to work (saves $ on gass), shop thrift stores and sales racks. It does make a difference. YOU CAN DO IT... I DID.

I'm cutting back on expenses too. I dont subscribe to cable (havent in about a year!) which is one less bill to pay, and I'm fine with only being able to watch 4 stations (as long as I can see LOST, some Friends/Seinfeld re-runs and get the news!). I also have been bringing my lunch to work and trying to make dinner at home (its boring to cook for just yourself though!)..Ive noticed this saves a lot..I figured I was probably spending close to $75 on food just for myself by eating out every week. Spending $25 on sandwhich supplies and some easy meals for dinner is proving to be a much better choice ;)
